Who were the leading rushers for each classification 1-5A. Please include ydg if possible.

Jake Nunley from Coffee County 5-A had 2,064 in the regular season.

Playoff games should not count it is un-fair. Regular season and after 1 playoff game Jake lead the state. I think it was around 2,170.

Yeah, i believe that that if you are trying to find out how led the state in any stat, it should only be in the regular season. The playoffs are just based on how good a team is.

Roger Herndon, Greenbrier High, junior. 2142 yards, 31 TDs, on 288 carries for the season. Approximately 1800+ for regular season.

It's not fair to count playoff yards for those who didn't make the playoffs, right? I just wanted to know who had the most regardless of number of games. Terrance didn't get to play in the fourth quarter but in 3 reg. season games, missed one game and still had 2400+ yards. I'm only interested in who might have more than that.

Even though Terrence Bell is an awesome RB, I agree playoff stats should not count. If thats the case it should be yards per game average.

Not per carry, but per game. If you had it that way a WR could rush one time durng the season on a reverse and score from 75 yards out and lead the state in rushing. Yards per game would be the best factor with a minimum of 6 or 7 games.
