Summertown over Dresden

The Lady Eagles took a 49-46 win over Dresden this afternoon in the Obion Co. Classic. Dresden led 35-30 at the end of the third period, but the Lady Eagles stepped it up to ouscore Dresden 19-11 in the 4th period - led by Brittany Lovett with 11 4th qtr points - including 6/6 from the free throw line.

Scoring for the South Fulton game on Monday - S'town lost 60-44

Tamia Tucker and Mallory Scott - 8 each

Brittany Lovett - 4

The girls played hard, but you could tell we didn't have our legs under us. Combination of the 3.5 hour drive and the after-effects of weights & plyos on Sunday.

 

 

 

 

Scoring against Dresden on Tuesday - S'town won 49-46.

Team played much better defense in the Dresden game. You could tell the girls felt better - and hence played better.

Thanks EagleClaw, I know that 3 and a half hour drive had to be horrible on the girls. I'm glad to see they picked up a win against Dresden.
