I'm thinkin the final four will look like this.. Jackson Co. & Summertown.. RBS & Madison Academy Magnet.. both games go either way.. predicting a Jackson Co. & RBS game Saturday with RBS pulling an upset and winning the crown, it's hard to put away a team 5 times when you know they can play at the same level with you.. I'm at State rooting for my home team though, Summertown! Really hope ya'll can take it all the way.

Just wanted to get on here and say CONGRATS to Wayne Co. on there win tonite, I was pretty sure ya'll would take this one and I'm overjoyed that the title didn't go to an 11A team.. the run CA made in the 3rd though scared me a lil' bit, lol, I was standing around a bunch of CA fans cheering for ya'll. Best of luck on ya'lls Sub-State game.. hope ya'll get that one too. Made a comment on here about not really seein either team in the finals as a "State Tournament" team.. and I still don't think CA is.. but I'm startin to have my doubts about ya'll now, lol.. Like I said in an earlier post, hope ya'll prove me wrong..

Congrats Girls on your win tonite, glad I could be there to see you win it. Really hurts to hear about Tamia, she was a BIG part of this team.. Wish her the fastest recovery possible. I'm still with ya'll till the end though.. ya'll play the ball I know Willard's taught you to play and nuthin's impossible.. that gold ball is still in reach.. ya'll just have to keep that drive to "want" it.. Really don't think this was an upset... Culleoka had a lil' hype before this game, were ranked high on the AP polls and all.. good season, great record.. but who did they play? CA.. is really the only "alright" team they played all year.. and they dropped both games to them. This game didn't suprise me at all.. Wayne Co. IS and obviously was the better team tonite, and you can say Culleoka had an off night or whatever.. blah, blah, blah. MY PREDICTIONS? Wayne Co. will win over CA in the Finals.. should be a fairly close game though, through all 4 quarters. Both teams go on to get put out in Sub-State, I just don't see either teams bein "State Tournament" teams.. I think overall.. just a down year for this region.. both district 11 and 12 were weak in my opinion this year, just wasn't impressed. Anyhow though.. BEST OF LUCK to Wayne Co. in the Region Finals and I really hope you prove me wrong about the "State Tournament" comment.

CONGRATS Girls on a sub-state birth.. Hope ya'll make it back to the Boro for a second year in a row, be nice to bring back a gold ball to STOWN.. or a RUNNER-UP banner, or even a FINAL FOUR... lol, sumthin. Anywho.. Good Game to PC tonite too, ya'll scared me with all the 3's at the end, nice comeback though.. you made it interesting to say the least. Good Luck Girls in the Regional Finals.. thumb Lets get current, Peabody plays Wayne Co., right? Then if someone saw both play, how do they match up? It's not about what a team did all season, ( Temple, Pickett, Unaka, CAK) it's how they handle the atmosphere and nerves of being at State. Oh yeah, they're all good or they wouldn't be at the BORO.

Couldn't make it to the game and kinda figured it'd be somewhat of a close game with S'town on top.. but looks like from what I read we never got close to winnin the whole game.. got slaughtered by 24? Wouldn't have ever guessed it. Anywayz, Congrats again to Wayne County and MAYBE we can both meet in state, gotta get those sub-state games first though, best of luck.

Congrats to Summertown, really wish I coulda been there for this one.. Knew it was gonna be a close game and prolly down to the wire, glad to see we came out on top though and got that district championship.. hated that I had to miss this one. Best of luck in the regionals, perry county too.. maybe we'll meet again in the regional c-ship like last year (which is likely) and hopefully we can put two 12A teams back in state this year back 2 back. thumb

Have to give c-wood their props on this one.. Didn't really think our girls would have a problem with them on our home floor but I was obviously wrong.. Didn't get to the game until half time but from what I saw from the 3rd and 4th quarters it was back and forth the whole game until the last couple of min., remembered it was tied 53-53 with 2 minutes left to go and then Collinwood made a couple shots and nailed most if not all their free-throws in that last minute and half or so. Anywayz good game to C-wood, ya'll played well.. District Tourneys should be interesting considering the top 3 teams have won one and lost one to each other. By the way.. where is District bein held at this year?

Is Richland really that great this year? I've been seein in the papers where they're ranked high in different polls.. Higher than Summertown.. where as we play a harder schedule in my opinion and we even beat them at the start of the season by 43 points.. Haven't seen them play since then, have they improved that much?
