I'm thinkin the final four will look like this.. Jackson Co. & Summertown.. RBS & Madison Academy Magnet.. both games go either way.. predicting a Jackson Co. & RBS game Saturday with RBS pulling an upset and winning the crown, it's hard to put away a team 5 times when you know they can play at the same level with you.. I'm at State rooting for my home team though, Summertown! Really hope ya'll can take it all the way.

Just wanted to get on here and say CONGRATS to Wayne Co. on there win tonite, I was pretty sure ya'll would take this one and I'm overjoyed that the title didn't go to an 11A team.. the run CA made in the 3rd though scared me a lil' bit, lol, I was standing around a bunch of CA fans cheering for ya'll. Best of luck on ya'lls Sub-State game.. hope ya'll get that one too. Made a comment on here about not really seein either team in the finals as a "State Tournament" team.. and I still don't think CA is.. but I'm startin to have my doubts about ya'll now, lol.. Like I said in an earlier post, hope ya'll prove me wrong..

Congrats Girls on your win tonite, glad I could be there to see you win it. Really hurts to hear about Tamia, she was a BIG part of this team.. Wish her the fastest recovery possible. I'm still with ya'll till the end though.. ya'll play the ball I know Willard's taught you to play and nuthin's impossible.. that gold ball is still in reach.. ya'll just have to keep that drive to "want" it.. Really don't think this was an upset... Culleoka had a lil' hype before this game, were ranked high on the AP polls and all.. good season, great record.. but who did they play? CA.. is really the only "alright" team they played all year.. and they dropped both games to them. This game didn't suprise me at all.. Wayne Co. IS and obviously was the better team tonite, and you can say Culleoka had an off night or whatever.. blah, blah, blah. MY PREDICTIONS? Wayne Co. will win over CA in the Finals.. should be a fairly close game though, through all 4 quarters. Both teams go on to get put out in Sub-State, I just don't see either teams bein "State Tournament" teams.. I think overall.. just a down year for this region.. both district 11 and 12 were weak in my opinion this year, just wasn't impressed. Anyhow though.. BEST OF LUCK to Wayne Co. in the Region Finals and I really hope you prove me wrong about the "State Tournament" comment.

CONGRATS Girls on a sub-state birth.. Hope ya'll make it back to the Boro for a second year in a row, be nice to bring back a gold ball to STOWN.. or a RUNNER-UP banner, or even a FINAL FOUR... lol, sumthin. Anywho.. Good Game to PC tonite too, ya'll scared me with all the 3's at the end, nice comeback though.. you made it interesting to say the least. Good Luck Girls in the Regional Finals.. I'ma try to make it if I can. thumb Lets get current, Peabody plays Wayne Co., right? Then if someone saw both play, how do they match up? It's not about what a team did all season, ( Temple, Pickett, Unaka, CAK) it's how they handle the atmosphere and nerves of being at State. Oh yeah, they're all good or they wouldn't be at the BORO.

What got into Wayne County? lol.. Congrats on the win tonite and I hope ya'll continue on this streak you've put together. What happened to Summertown tonite though? Couldn't make it to the game and kinda figured it'd be somewhat of a close game with S'town on top.. but looks like from what I read we never got close to winnin the whole game.. got slaughtered by 24? Wouldn't have ever guessed it. Anywayz, Congrats again to Wayne County and MAYBE we can both meet in state, gotta get those sub-state games first though, best of luck.

Congrats to Summertown, really wish I coulda been there for this one.. Knew it was gonna be a close game and prolly down to the wire, glad to see we came out on top though and got that district championship.. hated that I had to miss this one. Best of luck in the regionals, perry county too.. maybe we'll meet again in the regional c-ship like last year (which is likely) and hopefully we can put two 12A teams back in state this year back 2 back. thumb

Have to give c-wood their props on this one.. Didn't really think our girls would have a problem with them on our home floor but I was obviously wrong.. Didn't get to the game until half time but from what I saw from the 3rd and 4th quarters it was back and forth the whole game until the last couple of min., remembered it was tied 53-53 with 2 minutes left to go and then Collinwood made a couple shots and nailed most if not all their free-throws in that last minute and half or so. Anywayz good game to C-wood, ya'll played well.. District Tourneys should be interesting considering the top 3 teams have won one and lost one to each other. By the way.. where is District bein held at this year?

Is Richland really that great this year? I've been seein in the papers where they're ranked high in different polls.. Higher than Summertown.. where as we play a harder schedule in my opinion and we even beat them at the start of the season by 43 points.. Haven't seen them play since then, have they improved that much?

good game.. Tyler had 3 dunks.. an oop off the backboard, he caught another oop later on somebody through from baseline, and then he had one underneath.. took a drop step and threw it down. Almost caught a lob and dunked it backwards but missed it, woulda been a pretty bad dunk. Got his points of course, as always.. didn't really impress me with his shooting. During warm-ups he was strokin then come game time nuthin really fell, most of his points were inside 15 foot, maybe all of them.. not hatin on him though.. good player.. first time I seen him play since he was a sophmore.. good game to Lawrence Co. to by the way, ya'll played well in my opinion despite the loss.. ya'll look like you have a pretty decent team, just don't have any size though.. good coach too.. bein that he is from SUMMERTOWN, lol, best of luck to ya'll and the rest of your season.. as well as Giles Co.

Hey what's up Nathan.. I was scrolling through these posts and saw your name.. suprised me I found you on here, lol, this is Timmy by the way. If you see this, which you may not, holla at me at timdawg2003@hotmail.com... Oh yeah and what you were talking about the dunks at S'town.. Terry Richardson is on that list, he threw down a dunk at Summertown one night.. I'm not real sure though that Kade ever made a dunk during a game, he could throw one down easy but every time I ever seen him attempt one during a game he would throw it off the back of the rim.. anyhow though, take it easy and maybe I'll hear from ya soon... oh yeah I don't know if you've talked to anybody up here, they brought back the lights this year.. ya know where they cut off the lights and do the starting line-up with the spotlight to Hells Bells, lol, it gets pretty crunk in there now.. they never used it the whole time I was in High School because they had different lights in the gym, so it's been at least 5 or 6 years since they've used it, awesome to see it back.. gets the players and crowd hyped up... lol, I think I could get a dunk down after coming out to that.

Yeah there's a few players I've heard can dunk for Summertown.. A.J. Klinghard, John Moore, and Brett Holden.. somebody on here said Cole Long could but I'm not sure about that, that would suprise me if he could, Cody Braden might be able to get up to.. I'm not sure. I wouldn't look for any of these players to get a dunk down during regulation though... A.J. has a real good chance if he can get a break away, and if he does he'll more than likely try it I'm sure... I'm hopin does.

2 or 3 people has already posted this and I'd have to agree that our gym in Summertown is prolly a pretty tough gym to play in for an opposing team.. growing up there though, I love the gym and the atmosphere and playing on the court... I've heard alot of people say in the past that during big games when the gym is packed it feels like the crowd is right on you and you feel boxed in because of how close the walls are to the court... plus if you've been to big Summertown games you know our student section as well as everyone else can get pretty loud and rowdy.

These are my predictions... Site 1: Unaka Site 2: Hancock County Site 3: Chattanooga Christian Site 4: Clay County Site 5: Perry County Site 6: Summertown! Site 7: Gleason Site 8: Trenton Peabody

Summertown has 1 Senior, 2 Juniors, 2 Sophmores, and 5 Freshman.. All the Freshamn see plenty of Varsity min. especially a couple of them. Not a real big team as far as size but all the girls are hustlers and get after the ball, real scrappy on defense and well coached. I think they've only dropped one District game this season so far and that was a close game right down to the last min. against Perry Co., I'd say they'll prolly be a pretty tough team in district 12a for the next few years to come. Great game to the Lady Eagles... #23 Tamia "Tee" Tucker RULES!.. lol, doesn't put up alot of points, but she makes up for it everywhere else, I'd say she'll be pretty awesome as she gets older, especially with all the varsity experience she's getting as a freshman... LOOK OUT when we come to the "BARN".. we'll have our WHOLE team healthy and playing hopefully for the next one.

lol.. What a crazy start to a season.. Sante Fe loses to Zion Christian of all people and then turns around a few games later and beats Wayne Co. at Wayne Co. by 10, a team that SHOULD be top 2 in the district at the end of the season... lol, is it true about the 7 techs during the game??? Who were they all against.. all against one team or divided up? Hold up.. that coulda been in the girls game that I was readin about the techs or a whole nother post...
