Livingston Beats Upperman

LA beat a very tenacious Upperman team tonight 51-46. It was an up and down game with both teams pressing alot. Upperman is quick and plays hard. This is a competitive district among the top four teams, LA, JC, York, and Upperman. Tournaments are going to be fun to watch. Good job to both teams on a well-played game.

I didn't think LA, played badly, but they didn't shoot particularly well. However, I thought that Upperman played very well.

Sounds like that "OVERRATED" Upperman team must have had some sneaky stuff going on somewhere...cause we all know there is no way they could PLAY with Livingston, at Livingston...oh yeah, and it be a good game all the way to the end of the 4th quarter?...????

That was a good game between LA and Baxter last night. If you weren't there you missed a good one. I enjoyed every minute.Baxter sure has a good young team.

I'm not going to get on here and say that Livingston played bad and Baxter played good and that's why the game was close. I just think a lot of ppl overlook Upperman. They are a better team than they are given credit for a lot of times. And I don't think Jackson Co. had such an off night the night they only beat Upperman by 3. If they had an off night like everyone says then it was probably b/c of the way Baxter was playing them!

It was a very good game, it wouldn't have been as close though if Beechboard and Thurman could've hit their shots...They were getting good looks they just couldn't finish them, Beechboard still had 18 but wouldve had 30 if her shots would've fell. Great job by both teams though

I would say if all the shots that Upperman took would have gone in they would of had more points too. They had good looks too and took good shots...they just didn't fall. That's kind of how the game goes.

From where I was setting, LA was in the face of all the Upperman three point shooters. There were not many good outside looks, plus doubling down around the basket. LA ignored Cody Brown, and she was the Lady Bees leading scorer.
