yourworstnightmare
Which 4 have the best shot at making state this year. I know Jones of Clarksville is ranked in the state, but who else is there?
best_of_the_west
Cubbage of Kenwood is pretty good. Then there's Vance Williams of Northeast and Matt Little of Dickson County. Those are some of the best I've seen.
greco75
I have had an opportunity to see most of the heavyweights in the region wrestle. The match between Nate Jones and Vance Williams last night was a good one with Williams winning 5-2. In my opinion, the four heavyweights with a good chance of going to state are: Williams-Northeast Jones-Clarksville The heavyweight from Cheatham County The heavyweight from Sycamore Williams and Jones have beaten each other once. Williams has won all of his other region matches. Jones is ranked at state level.
coachmasters
I will agree with greco on those 4.
yourworstnightmare
I know the Sycamore kid placed 2nd and Jones from C'ville placed 4th at K'wood Tournament, but has not wrestled him. I was told he didn't wrestle against NE last week. He does wrestle the Cheatham kid tonight. How does this play into seeding for regions? yourworstnightmare
I saw the Sycamore hvywt beat Gibbs from Cheatham last week. According to my last post, how will this affect seeding in the individual region tournament? Help!
toobadtoosad
does it really matter. Which one does not want to wrestle the other? I've talked to Jones he really doesn't care who he wrestles. He knows he will have to beat two of them to win it. He would like another shot a Williams. But what ever you are seated who still have to wrestle and win to be a champ.
toobadtoosad
Just to answer your question I would have to say 1. NE 2. CHS Because he has beaten NE who has beaten everyone else 3. Syc 4. Cheat.
yourworstnightmare
The NE guy hasn't beat everyone else. He has not wrestled Sycamore's hvywt who has a record of 28-1, only losing to Chr Bros. That's why I asked the question. Thanks.
