Gumbi: Bogdan took 5th at the Ryan tournament nearly pinning the Simpson boy. As for region matches I know he's been doing well, but it's hard for me to keep track of all that from Mississippi. But as I said, I could be completely wrong. We'll see this weekend.

Gosney got beat out for the 140 spot at Clarksville High.

These guys are great athletes and should win their region titles! They have great talent and wonderful coaches!

160 is not a toss up. The Clarksville kid will win easily. I disagree kkw. I'm not sure how MC did against him but i know NW only lost by 1 point, and was ahead for most of the match. He is a good wrestler, but I think any 3 of those kids can take it, it will come down to who wants it most. I just don't think it'll be a blowout like you're making it sound.

Pease will definately win 189. He beat Campbell, who's ranked first in the state, and even beat the third ranked guy at 215. He's a great wrestler, and his only losses this year are to Michael Marable and Campbell, who he eventually beat. He'll be region champ, and more than likely state champ.

 

Tom Minwell decisioned the Montgomery Central kid at a dual.

Do you know by how much Minwell beat Evens of Mont. Central?

I believe it was just by a pojnt, partly due to a bad decision about top or bottom, and partly because Minwell was wrestling like crap that day. I'm not making excuses, but he'll probably beat him next time by much more.

So basically the top 3 have all been within 1 point of each other. At teh hoptown tourny MC beat NW by one point, CLK beat NW by one point, and CLK beat MC by one. I've heard some talk about the Sycamore kid, anyone have information on how he's done this year?

I've got nothing about the Sycamore kid. Minwell pinned a state ranked guy, and he doesn't have any division 1 losses. There has been a lineup change for Clarksville though, anybody know anything about the 140's?

I've heard that Bird from NW(103) is havin really big troubles making it under 110, and thats about the lowest he's been able to get lately.
