Jerry West keeps saying that Memphis doesnt have the star player they need to assume the leading role, take over, and bring home the gold. Kobe just happens to be a free agent after this year and with all his troubles in LA I think he might end up in Memphis and he might be the one that Jerry West is talking about going after.

I look at it, I just can't contribute all that much because I don't have a chance to actually watch them all that much. That will change next season, I hope!

I go to school about 3.5 hours away from Memphis, and on top of that, I work a *LOT* of nights, and pretty late ones (athletics department)...I'm working right now, in fact.

All for a star player, but I really am not sold on Kobe leading a team.

Kobe is one of the top 5 players in the league if he couldnt lead a team no one could.
