Very much a loaded district. DL is always gonna be around the top, once again a team that gets to pick and choose its players. Greenbrier lost a lil bit but will be right there in the end as usual. My boys up at Macon Co. can contend for the title as well. They have the best pitcher in the district (Jr. Hayden Shrum) and a solid catcher in Kyle Deering (whoo whoo baby!). But they will need more help in the starting pitching rotation and they will have to be more consistant @ the plate before they can win district. And of course Portland as always will field a solid team. It seems though as every team in the district as usual will be stong and it won't be a cake walk for any. Good luck to all!

yea your right the district will be good but tennisguy i dunno about yall having the best pitcher because greenbrier has 2 pretty good of there own Barret Brown and Hunter Norton along with 2 juniors Zach Kemp and Daniel Pryne and 2 sophomores that will probably see some time on the mound as well David Binkley and Dustin Dickson so GB has a pretty well set pitching rotation right now as long as we keep those arms healthy so it will be fun to see how the district goes this year

This district is definately the toughest in the state. Greenbrier's two best pitchers Barrett Brown and Hunter Norton have both signed to play at Trevecca next year and Moffett from MLK has signed at Belmont. Leo Koskie from Springfield made the baseball factory all american team this summer. Shrum from Macon is also a good pitcher like you said, but this district is loaded with good pitching. Also does anyone have any info on Station Camp.

Lipscomb baseball should again be solid. The district as a whole(every sport) is more evenly matched than any other in the state. Every sport has at least 5 contenders for a district championship. Watch out for Jason Brock(sp?) at DL once district roles around. He is a transfer from Page High School and will be eligible at districts I believe. Rogers and Lehning will both be back to provide solid seasons not only at the plate but in the field also.

Baseball, softball, boys basketball and other sports this district is wicked. I do believe Haydon Shrum of MC has the best stuff of any pitcher in the district, if he matures mentally he will be a force. Its really gonna be fun during the district tourny because any team can get hot and win this. Definitely no clear cut favorite.
