Walker Valley surprises # 5 East Ridge

Tonight in the "Stable" at Walker Valley, the # 5 ranked team in the state (East Ridge) came in expecting to make a statement to Walker Valley. Instead, it was the Mustangs that "stated". They stated that they are the team to beat in the region tournament in two weeks. Not only did they win the game, but it was never even in doubt. The final score was not indication of how much Walker Valley dominated the game from the beginning. Congratulations to the Mustangs on a great win tonight. 59-49

East Ridge isnt number 5 anymore. They got beat a few weeks ago by Meigs County. That dropped them out of the top ten.

East Ridge isn't playing too well now, Arts and Sciences was but has dropped off a little. Right now I would pick Howard to win the district.
