Happy Valley embarrassed Hampton

Sullivan North had Elizabethton beaten, but the cyclowns got lucky and barely won

Sullivan Central did what it had to do and edged Volunteer

can someone with an unbiased view of the games give me a detailed description of the games?

Unicoi beat Johnson County by around 12 in a low scoring ho-hum win. Happy Valley jumped out to a 20-0 lead over Hampton and ended up winning by about 12. Elizabethton struggled with North until a 15-0 run in the third quarter led to a 68-56 win. Baughman had 24 points and 19 rebounds. Redd also had a great game. Central edged Volunteer 48-43 in the nightcap.

Just to add: Michaela Pietrowski really had an impressive second half. And the guards settled in and got the ball inside much better in the third quarter. Way to go, Bishop and Dykes.

Michaela did have a better half defensively in the second half. The run in the third quarter was due to steals and ball pressure up front not getting the ball inside. Way to go Bishop, Dykes, Redd, Crapps.

But we do need to give my Lady Raiders alot of credit! They played alot better in this game then they did during the season... North couldv'e very possibly won... depth got them in the end!

The semifinals Tuesday night put Happy Valley#5 vs. Unicoi Co. #1 at 6:30.

Elizabethton #2 plays Sullivan Central #3 at 8:00. Winners will advance to championship game Thur. at 8:00. Losers in consolation Thursday at 6:30
