This was a close game. Greenback had it tied (or maybe within 1 in the 4th)

If Greenback would have hit some big free throws, they might have won.

CAK seem to played really tight almost like they were playing not to lose.

The refs called it really close on the fouls and neither team seemed to get into

any kind of offensive rythm whick hurt CAK more than Greenback.

 

A fun game to watch for The Eagle fans.

CosbyEagle can vouch for me on this one--I told people not to underestimate the power of Greenback and several posters thought I was crazy!! Well..maybe they didn't win or upset CAK, but....it sounds like they sure put a scare in them!!

Helton is one of the best players ive played against. He doesnt force the ball like most stars on a team with little help, and the guy had 30 points. He also has probubly the best sportsmanship of anyone in tennessee. he never seems to get mad at the refs and complaments the other team constantly. Good luck to him and his greenback team in the region.

Hope so!!! I too thought that Greenback would come out with a win against CAK. Hopefully they can get over the hump during the region tourny...Who do you think Greenback will play in the region if they beat Midway??? What are your predictions for the Cosby vs. CAK game??? Does this close win for Cak cause concern for them or better prepare them for Cosby????

Greenback has been playing good the last two games I know. They played Oneida solidly before falling by 13 and now to CAK by only 6. The ycould be a spoiler in the region, the way they are playing right now anyways. Helton is a player, but he needs a big post to help him or a consistent shooter. Without him, this team doesn't win a game.

Congratulations to CAK on the win, but a big congrats to Greenback and the coaches on a job well done. I know there weren't that many people who would have thought they would give the warriors a run for their money.

Its hard to tell. District 4-A is very even and the four remaining teams all could be 1st or 4th.
