Any updates on tonight's games, boys and girls??? Wanted to make the trip but decided to not bother. CPA and Houston Co. have the late game, but for sure by now the first girls and boys (McEwen/FRA) games are over. Any scores would be greatly appreciated.

FRA over McEwen by 6. Puckett had 3 fouls in the first quarter. This is all i know...

FRA 52-46. It was a 10 point game most of the way. The last quarter took forever. McEwen fouled the entire quarter and shot a ton of 3's. They cut it to 4 once, but stayed 6-8 points down most of the fourth. FRA was 24-34 from the line. As usual for FRA, it was a tough game. That's all they seem to play.

Just got an UNOFFICIAL report that CPA won by about 16. Refs were horrible, Houston should've won. Just the report i got, in no way my opinion or statement, someone else's.

The officiating in the FRA game got awful bad in the last quarter as well, so no surprise if your report is correct.

The whole TSSAA basketball season has been plagued by the epedimic of "bad officiating." Still haven't seen a consistently called game yet.

AGreed. On another note, I will be awfully surprised if this region doesnt put two teams in the state tourney.

I agree, should be two great games tomorrow night and the top 2 in region 5 are capable of winning state.

I also agree with the last two posts. We have 4 very capable teams left. I also have to give it to the girls in region 5 all 4 of them also have a great shot at state.
