i love all the replies and comments on here but people are you seriously going to pick Red Boiling over Gordonsville. come on people Red Boiling has struggled the whole year and they were not that impressive in there ditrict, and all of these people are picking them to beat Gordonsville. i am either guessing that the people picking Red Boiling to win is either from there or just have not seen Gordonsville play. this has potential to be a blwo out if Red Boiling dont come to play. Gordonsville is mad and are lookin to take everyone down after there loss in the district championship so boys you had better watch out.

Pickett over Westmoreland- Pickett has alot of quickness and can force alot of turnovers so I think they will win by 8

 

Trousdale over Clarkrange- Trousdale is the most improved team in the region since the start of the season, and RBS proved that Clarkrange's victory over them was a fluke. Trousdale by 17

 

RBS over Gordonsville- only on the condition that they play the way they played against Clarkrange and I think they will so it is "Gut Check Time" for RBS, plus Gordonsville isnt used to losing this season so I think they will have a hangover and Make a early exit. RBS by 5

 

Friendship over Clay- my upset game. I havent seen much of Friendship this year but I have seen enough to know they can play and I think Clay will come out flat after an emotional victory over Pickett for the district 7a title. Friendship by 4 in OT

Jimbobcooter, i don't think there is any way clay co. loses to friendship...only if chase stephens doesn't bother showing up...this is the most parity i've seen in the region in a long time.. 4, maybe 5 teams could make a run at the championship..i do feel that if pickett and clay co play up to their potential they will meet in the finals..i think that Westmoreland could upset pickett in the first round if pickett don't come to play, however i don't think Westmoreland has the firepower to go all the way..i didn't think trousdale would be very good this year, but they have a legit chance to run the tables on this tournament..I feel Gordonsville is a good team, not good enough to be number 1 in the state, but could be good enough to win the region..I also feel RBS could pull the upset if they play hard..Meador is incredibly talented and Hudson and England can shoot..I think Clay Co. will be the wildcard in this..They can play with anybody if they come to play and i think they will be in the finals...My pick is pickett vs. Clay, just my opinion.

Well, I do understand your point, but after picking them Friendship as my upset game I went and took a look at the scoreboard and noticed that Friendship has defeated Celina once this season and gave them a good game in the other meeting. I will stand by that pick and say that in my opinion any team in this region could compete for the championship.

If you noticed Friendship beat Clay Co, at Celina,late in the year.

two teams are in trousdale and clay. the other two spots are still up for grabs i still say it will be westmorland and Gordonsville. pickett as a very good team but i heard that bailey had a hurt ankle so i am wondering if that will affect him any against westmorland. i am a Gordonsville fan all the way but i really cant wait to see the pickett, westmorland game it is going to be awesome. i still cant believe that people are picking red boiling but that is there picks i am going to stay with Gordonsville becuase i know that they will be pumped up to win. that loss to trousdale was just what they needed as crazy at that sounds. they thought it was going to be a breeze but tc proved them wrong. tomorrow night will be a night to go to the ballgames at Watertown, there are going to be two great games perdictions westmorland by 4 and Gordonsville by 10

      Never in my life have I seen a team in a scrimmage against their own defense look so lost and confused. The defense didn’t look much better, the coaching staff can’t keep their anger together, not only with the players but also with their other coaches. I feel awful for those players. None of them look like they wanted or should’ve been out there, but for the grown men on the sidelines acting like fools, it's just embarrassing to the Farragut name and reputation. I now see why they chose not to live stream this on their YouTube channel.

      We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.

      Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.

      I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
