westtn2004state
I have heard that they have an attitude problem at CA. Something about the girls basketball team. I wonder if thats the way it is with their baseball team too.
Buck08
Yea CA lost a whole lot of seniors . they lost most of their team , but there is still a few talented people left . as far as their pitchin goes , it stinks. but they'll never do as good as they did 3 years ago . i doubt they'll do very good at all. trl
Columbia Academy has the three best players in the district. They have Tyler Boshers, Nathan McBroom, and Drew Earl. They will battle with Mt. Pleasant for the championship. Same story every year!
goldenboy
Columbia Academy has the three best players in the district. They have Tyler Boshers, Nathan McBroom, and Drew Earl. baseball_is_life
yo trl, no disrespect, but there is no way CA has the three best players in the district. big ups to Tyler Boshers on district mvp last year, tyler is an exceptional player, but i wouldn't say CA has the best 3 in the district. have u forgotten about players like andrew scherrer and neyland roberts from mt. pleasant, or chad clifton and jarred ezell from summertown. there are several great players in 12a and i don't believe the top 3 are on CA. if you don't believe me, just ask mcbroom, he will tell u how good ezell is, i know he hasn't forgot the shot ezell hit against him last year at CA. trl
Yes Hargrove is a solid catcher. I like his "Bulldog" mentality behind the plate. He is also a GREAT kid to have around. A great team player! Preseason All-12A Team 1B- Nathan McBroom- CA 2B- Tyler Boshers- CA 3B- Neyland Roberts- MP SS- ??????? RF- Drew Earl- CA LF- Jarred Ezell- Summertown CF- Chad Clifton- Summertown C- Andrew Scharrer- MP P- Brandon Tuten- MP P- Holt- MP DH- Ben Hargrove- CA
viking32
how about giving some other schools some love too. district 12A is gonna be tough this year. CA, MT Pleasant and Summertown will be good. they always are. but PC will be a better team this year too. this is only our coachs second season as head coach so he is just building his style of play around our players. i wouldnt be surprised if we have 3 or 4 people on your little all district team. southpawl_20
district 12 ca 2-0 - big win at summertown, mcbroom pitched great game. timely hitting mt. pleasant 2-0 - 30+ runs in 2 games- great senior leadership. summertown 0-1 - ezell pitched great - only gave up 5 hits. these 3 teams are all solid, with great coaches. district 11 richland should be tough, might miss ingram? moore co. big ? didn't show up at ca. 14-4 in lost. lethal10
CA always finds a way to come thru in the end like all columbia teams. But i do think it is hillarious that someone from summertown started the post asking if CA would be any good when you got NO HIT BY THEM. Best of luck to you bulldogs
tripleplay_18
Clint Shelby from CA no-hit Perry Co. today. But yall are right, our pitching staff does stink, I mean just look at the numbers...3 games, 2 no-hitters, 0 earned runs in 18 innings. If thats a stinky pitching staff, then I hope we stink all year long. Go Dawgs!
