Who will it be in the 'Boro: Unaka or Cosby?

I've earned a lot of respect for Cosby this week as they rallied back to put out a very game bunch of Wartburg Bulldawgs, downed an Oneida team that was peaking at the right time, and fought tooth and nail with Rockwood before falling!!

 

As for Unaka, other than Brutus, well....Go EAGLES!!

Unaka knocked off Cosby the first time they came to Unaka. So Id expect Cosby to have revenge on thier mind. Should be a great game, and im hoping Cosby wins to show how strong Region 2 is.

I gotta say Unaka on this one. Cosby is a great team at home...on the road they're a good team. Unaka's homecourt should be enough to get them a ticket to the 'boro.

yeh, The Eagles did a lot of falling tonight caused by that gym floor....

Both teams played on the same floor, its not like Rockwood practices on that wet surface. I don't think it would have changed the games outcome to much, Cosby just didn't seem to be hitting the shots they usually do. But don't be down your season is still alieve. Good luck with Unaka.

the elements. I guess I'm just venting tonight. I just don't like to lose

But I still don't think the "cleanup" was handled timely or fairly.

And a lot of calls were made and not made because of the conditions.

But a team can't score only 15 points in the 2nd half and expect to win.

Better a loss tonight than earlier in the week though.

 

I think we've got a good chance at Unaka. Coach Flatford will

have them ready. I may have to keep the computer off till Monday

night so I don't have to read the Ranger fans posts.

I've watched both teams play a couple of times this season and it should be a great game. I'll be pulling for Cosby because I respect their program and how hard their kids play. You also don't see their players involved in trash talking and they play injured (Blakely Tuesday and Hall tonight).

Unaka is very efficient on offense. Not really a fast paced team (from what I saw), but they seem to be a lot like Rockwood in that their patient.

Cosby needs Black to get some shots. He really didn't get a lot of shots in the region tourney and he's too good of a shooter not to get involved.

I really hated to see that the gym floor was so slippery, it reminded me of when the Eagles had to travel to Hancock Co. for the substate game in 2001. I know pretty much every player on that court slipped tonight, but poor Kevin H., He had a busted nose and a split eye. Of course i am going to pull for Cosby to win the Game against Unaka... what kind of a fan would i be if i didnt. All i can say is i hope Coach Flatford can get the boys pumped up and ready for a huge battle on Monday.
