The Wildcats are 4-5 right now and 3-0 in the district. Three of their five losses have come at the hands of AAA schools, one loss was to a very good Grundy County team 4-3, and another one to Macon County. So far in the district, LA beat Dekalb 4-3, Upperman 9-4, and Cannon County 13-2. It's been an up and down year from what I can tell. It's anybody's race in the district with Dekalb and York having good ball clubs and Smith, Jackson, and Cannon County playing pretty well right now. Upperman has struggled early but they will be a definate contender come the end of the season. If the Wildcats get some confidence and play the way they are capable of then they should have another good year. Hopefully they will defend their district championship and go a step further than last year and add a region championship to their resume. We will have to wait and see.

Livingston is going to travel to Jackson County tomorrow and try to keep their district record perfect at 4-0.
