i heard it was a good game tuesday nite, but what were the highs and lows. how did smalley pitch, and i heard josh something made a crazy play.

Yeah, #4 Josh Green was at second base and there was a shot in between first and him,(in the gap), he took about two or three steps and layed out...caught it...flipped over and gunned the guy out by half a step.

 

About Smalley...awesome game even though there were a few earned runs, his curve and slider were breaking batters off all night...not to mention he doubled off thewall at engel stadium which is about 405 to center

yes, notre dame is a quality team and it was a good win for hixson who finally got back on track last night. smalley pitched a great game with exception to the rough 4th inning. apparently he had a perfect game through three and gave up all three runs in the 4th. his name is josh green, and yes it was a great play. he dove to one side got up had to spin and threw the kid out by a step. good game hixson.

it was mostly lopsided to hixson, ND only had 1 good offensive inning.

Yea it was an all around good game for hixson, but not for Notre Dame. Don't get me wrong, they are a really good team; they just couldn't hit it solid where no one was...thanks to Smalley(5-1)

Mark Ramsey hit one out almost dead center at Engel Stadium!!!!!!! And Smalley did have a perfect game until he got rocked in the 4th!!!!!
