Danielle will go to state! She finished 2nd and Rachael finished 15 I think. They both did really well. Rachael ran the 800 really well-2:33!

When are they dropping the pentathlon for the 7 events? Also how did Brandi Skipworth and Diana Burgy do?

Rachel Craig finished 12 not 15. Brandie Skipworth 26 and Lindsey Baugh 27.

Glad to see WB already sending one athlete to State! I'm sure if Danielle doesn't make it in another event (which I'm sure she will...) Walker or someone else will make the trip to Memphis! Good Luck!

MEGHAN LYONS WON THE WHOLE THING! 5'4 HIGH JUMP PRETTY GOOD 27'11 IN SHOT NEVER HAS THROWN BEFORE. SHE HAS RAW TALENT! SHE HAS HAS NOT EVEN REACHED HER POTENTIAL. SHE S ONLY 5'3.

Meghan Lyons did finish in front of Danielle by 217 points. She is a great athlete. She also is a junior and Danielle is a freshman. For Danielle to make it to state as a freshman means that she has alot of tallent too. They were pretty close in everything they did except the high jump. Danielle only cleared 4'8" which in not close to her best. Meghan seems to be a very nice young lady too. I wish her luck at state along with Danielle.

Megan Lyons is perhaps the best all-around athlete in East Tennessee and anyone who spend 5 minutes with her will undoubtedly conclude she is a high quality young lady as well. She was amazing in the pentathlon... untouchable and unstoppable. She will represent Greeneville well at the state meet.
