7-AA District Tournament

Softball gets no recognition. At the state tourney last year there was no recognition of the players at all, not before the tourney nor at the champonship game. When the championship game was over B Childress came on the field gave the runner- up trophy, gave the winning trophy, and gave the coach a white trash bag with championship shirts and medals. Not any mention off an all tourney team or not even recognizing anyone.

Anyone know how the first day of the District tournament went. Just curious of how Livingston done. If someone does could you post the scores.

The only game I know for sure is:

York vs. Upperman this evening

4:00 Jackson County vs Livingston (Elimination game)

 

5:30 York vs Upperman (Elimination game)

 

7:00 Dekalb vs Smith Co. (Winner's Bracket Final) Winner secures a Regional berth.

 

Loser has to play one of the other 4 (JC, LA, YAI and UHS), whoever is left for a shot at the title game.
