I wasn't there, but as reported by the Tennessean (not always 100% accurate) the day one results for the DII Middle Decathlon are as follows:

Had to be a tough day, with all the rain and thunderstorms yesterday in Franklin. No huge surprises so far.

Actually those scores area a little off. They used to shot put tables when scoring triple jump but they went back and changed it so all of the athletes had close to 100 moer points for day 1. and On day 2 Chris Buck ended up with 6569 points over Zach Rogers with 6354 points and then Jay Pilkerton scored 6030 something. congratulations to all athletes for a great competition. P.S. Ben Davies is an 8th grader.
