OK, I"ll ask the question again, because I'm not as familiar with the DII format. Did this game eliminate Webb from going to the state tournament?

yes Baylor v Mccalie for the Region Championship. they both goto state and are the only 2 from the East. congrats. Mccallie has to win 1 out of two to win the tournament

Well, I thought Webb had a shot again this year. After reading this morning's paper, it was apparent that the pitching just ran out.

 

Congratulations to the Spartans on a great season. I thought they were one of the better teams in the Knox area (at any level) this past year.

I also thought that Webb had a good chance to at least get to Memphis this year. They have a good group of kids and played well most of the year. Pitching was always a little short, but I thought they could survive. Congratulations to the seniors... BriC get your cowboy boots out!!
