Whitehouse vs Hendersonville

Good start for my Blue Devils as they dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and come away with a 18-7 win in their half.

WH first team scored first, running the ball for 3-7 yards per attempt. The WH linemen controlled the line of scrimmage, and what made this so impressive is the Blue Devil passing game was off. After the first quarter, the 2nd teamers took over and marched down the field, as the Commandos had no answer for the running game. WH scores the next two TD's and the only trouble was the inability to kick extra points, missing all three. Hendersonville scored very late on a long run against many WH youngsters.

We had a little trouble covering the kickoffs and our blocking was weak on extra points, besides that, my Blue Devils look strong, quicker than in years past, a bevy of good running backs, not huge players, but good size.

Outlook for this season??? There are some good teams in 6-4a this year, but the Blue Devils are senior ladened, very disciplined, quicker, stronger, and to beat the Blue Devils will take a very good effort. This team is much improved over last years team.

Portland should be very afraid.
