Oneida just straight whipped us. They just were alot more physical than us. Granted we do have 7 starters out, but there is no excuse for what happened. Congrats to Oneida you guys were a class act.

We came out strong last night and didn't slow down til about the 4th offensive drive when we didn't score. Them missing their fullback probably influenced the game but I don't know how much he would have helped, our d-line and linebackers played pretty well and our running game was the best it's been all fall. Both Bobby Simon and Adam Jeffers were impressive last night with Simon more consistent and with Jeffers breaking a couple of big runs, one where he went for about 50 after a penalty. Passing game wasn't a big influence, didn't really need it. Zach Smith was very impressive at quarterback running all over the Clay Co. defense with good blocking not only from his line but his receivers as well. Good game for the Indians.

The score was 39-0 when our Varsity came out. We have a good JV and they have been laying into people all fall. They scored the rest of the points and stopped them on defense.

Andrew Campbell- Poison Ivy- Day to Day

Matt McLerran- Somethings wrong with his leg, doctors are holding him out til next week.

Eric Trobaugh- Broken finger, ??

Mark Poindexter- Bulged Disc, ??

Trey Richardson- Ankle, Soon

Michael Miller- Sinus Infection- Just out for the scrimmage

 

So thats 7 starters out, it hurts to not have them

None of those injuries should be to serious...so yall should be alright come gametime...

There wasnt anyone left to run the ball. Thats was a big part of the problem. And your right about the injuries not being serious, we should have nearly everyone back before the first game.
