I think you better edit your poll because his name is Suhmer G. Smith, not Suhmer Smith. It will be between him and Michael for the title.

 

Another thing. You better add Chris Dranier to the poll as well. He is the 3rd fastest returning behind Michael and Suhmer. I think McMinn will have guys go 1, 2 and 3 at Region. Baltimore will be lucky to get 4th.

This is my Senior year and I'm not going to let a Sophomore take the title. I killed Matt last year. I bet you all are getting all hype because of that Firefighters race.. Well, my source says it was short, and he ran the race.

you didn't let him beat you in track either did you? btw the course was short i think at fastest he would have ran 16:24 3mile i think it was 2.8ish

Aight bud, I was happy with what I did during track considering I didn't train for over a month and I was still hurt during the race. I will race Matt in any event any time.

I'm so glad to see that the Bradley and McMinn guys still have some fire left in them. There is nothing like a good rivals to keep things exciting. I think Mat Baltimore is and will be one of the best runners to come out of Bradley and my heart would love to see him win region. My head tells me that most likely will not happen. I hope all you guys run really great times this year and represent this region well at the state meet. thumb

so...are you not allowed to say how fast these people run on this message board? I read this and try to figure out how fast people are and no one EVER posts any times. How do you know these people are fast? Post some of their times from various courses.

from my experience the race at Percy Warner goes out extremely fast (4.40ish). Based only on the results I have seen 16 something is not going to be nearly fast enough. I will predict the winner of the state meet will run 15:15

all i'm saying is...these people on the poll seem like nickel and dime guys. Very decent runners, but certainly not state champ contenders.

You may have a point but the discussion of this thread concerns our region not the state championship..
