Usually some Usher works or somehting along the lines of that, but if things just get really bad, try going for some Rammstein of Stahlhammer. Our student section was huge at all the football and basketball games! Basically you have to get the kids involved. Make it fun and exciting. Of course it always helps to have a winning team. Flipn4OHS Posted September 24, 2004 Report Share Posted September 24, 2004 We don't have that problem! They mark off the spirit section with ropes and no parents dare sit in it b/c it gets so rowdy! I think the REFS @ Ooltewah help to make the student section louder and bigger...having any kind of spirit "group" will do that. About 10 people who take the initiative to lead the crowd from the stands...usually dress differently from everyone else too...if they start cheering everyone else will go right along with it!
