Huntingdon/Chester Co.--- Updates?

One thing that I was bothered by in this game was the size of the Chester County crowd. BoredGuy you posted earlier in the week that there would only be about 100 there and you probably hit it pretty close. The team is working hard to build a top notch program and hometown support would be a big encouragement.

No those aren't facts. It was a clean hit, now maybe if you learned how to tackle, when to go low, etc. you wouldnt be getting beat 59-7. Thats a fact. CRYBABY.

 

Once again, I hate that the kid got injured and hope the best for him.

Baker is tackling way too low. He's not wraping up with his arms. He going for those one hit wonders, just using his head and shoulders. He was luckly to get all of those tackles. One of the days someone is just going to jump over him and make a TD. I'm not trying to take anything away from his effort, just his techinque.

stangfan, I appreciate your recognizing that. I do try to stay as objective as possible about things. I'd love to come on here and make excuses, but the fact of the matter is we got our butts whipped. I just hope our kids are able to learn from it, put it behind them, and move onto week 5.

 

h20boy, I also appreciate your comments. You're right, the coaching staff and players are working hard to build something. It's a real shame that we can't get more support. Even at home games, we don't get close to filling the home bleachers. Maybe it'll take a few more years of winning seasons.

 

mustang69, thanks for your comments about Melvin. I think he stayed out the rest of the night partially as a precautionary measure. I hope he's cleared to go next Friday. He's a tough one, I'm guessing he'll be on the field.

 

I'd wish H'don good luck the rest of the way, but I don't think you'll need too much of it.

Yea, but people like that make the boards more entertaining. It would be boring if everybody agreed with everybody all the time. Even good movies have bad guys. There are just people that you love to hate.
