The starters scored 21 quick points and were gone by the middle

of the first quarter. Second team finished the half 35-7. The

third quarter was a mixture of sophomores and freshmen. The

second team freshmen played the final quarter. The bulk of

the scoring was against freshmen.

The BA offensive starters played a grand total of two plays. The Defensive starters also left at that point, with about 5 minutes left in Q1. I'm sure it was fun for a lot of young kids to get a chance under the Friday night lights.

I heard the BA team and bus left in the 3rd qtr and then after several plays IND scored several times...............sounds like a Vanderbilt story.

Hats off to IND for playing BA...but is BA really that "hard-up" for a game or competition...what did BA gain by this garbage.

BA had a team cancel a scheduled game prior to the start of the season

and Independence was willing to fill the slot. Unfortunately, BA doesn't have a lot

of options regarding opponents. There are not a host of teams willing

to schedule a DII-AAA team.

Bulldog, tell your friends at Brentwood, Franklin, or elsewhere to schedule us and we'll stop playing teams like Indy. I'd love to see a great marquee matchup like BA-BHS two and three years ago, but until the good teams are willing to schedule us, we'll keep having to play teams like Lone Oak, Anna-Jonesboro, and Independence.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
