TC scored 34 points in the first quarter, the score was 48-6 at half time. I left the game at halftime and Coach Satterfield already had the starters out. It could have been real ugly. TC got it done early and got the starters out, GOOD JOB. thumb

im hurtin, bleedin, and even picking uo my brains off the field. i played horrible but we turned it up int the second half. key word second half, they were playing their second wait scratch that third string. and we justacted like we won on the way home. i was really upset with some people, ecpecially myself. we are a team.

and even though some people think we stink we really do have a lot of talent. our coaching just stinks. our defense tried tonight but we couldnt tackle a band member. and i couldn't find the right colored jerseys. but we are gonna put it together for our seniors next week and beat upperman.

But I'm glad you're able to admit that you didn't do so great without blaming all your problems on everybody else. And I hope you are feeling better, too. Did you see us on TV?! It was on Channel 4 at 11:00 this morning. Don't know if it was on tonight or not. There were some pretty good little shots of you, and Jared, and a couple others, but the main stuff, of course, was about TC and their Homecoming events. I feel sorry for some of you guys at Cannon and Upperman because you seem like you really want to win. I said it on these boards before that Cannon County looked like one of the worst coached teams I have ever seen and I still believe that.

Final: TC - 51  CC - 20. Could've been worse though. I actually thought we did pretty good against a team ranked #10 in the state. Maybe next year after reclassification it'll be a bit more fair for everybody. Colorguard, I never could get around to looking for you. I got too busy with the game, and then every time I had a chance to find you, like halftime, you were on the field or something. So sorry that didn't happen. Anyway, good game to both teams. Next year I hope we get put with a bunch of teams we know we can beat so we'll have a winning season. Wouldn't that be fun?! Hope it happens. Good job, especially to Jared, Donnie, Brett (stepping up for the freshmen!), Kermit, and Ricky and Efren, -- hope you guys are OK. Josh: You played a 50-50 game tonight. In the beginning, throwing interceptions, bad passes, getting sacked, etc. I could tell you were mad at yourself. (Why else would you be slamming your helmet down and kicking the fence and all that? ) But then in the second half you really kicked it up a little and got some great completions, and even ran a little.    Hope you're neck and leg and whatever else are OK too. And if Josh Haley pulls you up by your jersey again and starts yelling in your face one more time, I'm gonna come down there and smack him around!    Not really, but at least I know he only has one more game with us! We'll be better next year. Until then, we've got Upperman to look forward to next week. I think we might have a pretty decent chance. They're only 2-6 now. We're just 1-7.
