meigs has had a good week of pratice. were lookin pretty good if we play good we have a chance.sure we have a young qb but dang he's pretty good.sure its goin to be tough a game .i think it will comedown to who wants it more meigs or marion.

HOW BOUT THEM TIGERS THEY PULLED IT OFF IN A CLOSE ONE AND WAS DONW AT ONE POINT 28-14! FINAL SCORE WAS 35-34! ROBBBIE CORNELIOUS IS AN AMAZING ATHELETE HE HAD A GREAT GAME AND SO DID TYLER ROBERTS AND THE OFFENSIVE LINE IN THE SECOND HALF!! GREAT GAMES GUYS! WE NEED ANOTHER GOOD WEEK OF PRACTICE WE GOTTA A TUFF CHALLENGE AHEAD GOODPASTURE. GO TIGERS!

Well, it was a rough game. Good job tigers. great effort by Robbie Corn, Justin Campbell, Scotty Miller, the entire offencive line and the defence. We picked it up the second half. Good luck Marion in playoffs

The center has had one bad game against Tyner, the other games(when he wasnt hurt) he did fine in, including last night. Meigs offense scored in six plays on thier oppening rive, highlighted by a 75 yard pass from Tyler Roberts to Scott Miller to put the ball on the Marion two. Roberts ran it in from there. Marion ran the ball down to score then forced Meigs to three and out. Marions QB threw an interception to LB Justin Cambell who returned it for the TD. 2 pt conversion was good. Marion scored right before the half to make it 21-14. Marion came out of halftime with the ball and scored to put them up by two TDs. One play later, Meigs QB Tyler Roberts hooked up with Scott Miller once again for a long TD pass. Miller ended up with 2 rec for 135 yards. Marion drove the field and almost scored, but they fumled into the endzone and Scott Miller(see a pattern) recovered. Meigs scored to tie the game. At one point, Marion had the ball with 45 seconds left and down by one point, but Meigs D held them out. Marions offense had well over 500 total yards, Meigs had about 330. It was a great game. Wonderful effort from both sides. Good luck to Marion when they travel this week.

The statistics that were called in to the TFP were not completely accurate. Meigs had around 250 yards of offense to Marion's 484 yards. Which leads one to scratch his head, and say what happened? Meigs was able to capitalize on some crucial mistakes made by the Warriors, and some poor tackling led to big play results in the passing game by the Tigers. The QB for Meigs was very impressive with both his running and throwing ability. Coming into the game, Cornelius was the name most people knew, but other than his TD off the screen pass, he was somewhat held in check. Both teams will have to play extremely well next week, especially in the execution of fundamentals. Taking care of the ball, and doing the little things right will have to be the focus if the teams want to advance past the 1st round. Good luck to both teams.
