This was a friend of Mr. Cornetts that started this thread. He will have an impact this year in region 1. He placed 3rd at 152 in 04, behind the STATE CHAMPION Ty Cody and a Fairly tough kid named ZAC MCMACHAN. He had a record of 35-6 in 04 and went 2-2 at the state tournament.

will he beat McMackin this year? I heard that a few teams are coming up with some tuff 160 lbers... that can't cut 152 because of the hydration testing that came in this year... how will he stack up with Greeneville's that broke even with Science Hill's Beamer... i heard that kid was supposed to do some damage in the region this year until the hydration test says he can cut to 152

iwillpicku, are you talking about Beamer cutting to 152? They haven't even taken the hydration/body fat test yet.

 

Mitch Cornett is a tough and classy kid that I would be proud to have on my wrestling team. There are enough turds running around calling themselves wrestlers. The last thing we need to do is bash a good kid and a hard worker.

sorry TDArtist... i don't know anything about the kid, i was talking about Beamer get beat at 160 by Bowman and then bowman cutting to 152, what place did cornett take at the region last year? Who beat him? and who did he beat?
