Nomar was offered 6 years and $60 million dollars last winter by the Red Sox, which i thought was extremely to much for a player that had been having the problems he had been having! I think that the Cubs over-paid for him this year, because he has just not been that healthy lately. I like the fact that they gave him a 1 year contract to let him prove himself before they offer him the big one, but doesnt $8 million seem a little steep for his services with his recent track record?
