It was posted on the Collins Hill Dual thread that his arm isn't broken.

I'm getting mixed messages myself. My son took the Gold card back that was left at Applebee's but forgot to check on Scott's arm. I tried to call today but no one was home.

I hope he can come back! We need him to be an effective dual team. He will always be able to say he gave it his all when he had his shot. If not, he will have a great future in anything he chooses.

His family are great supporters of the sport and went out of their way to help my family when I was called back to active duty after 9-11. I wish them a Happy New Year and hope they able to get Scott back.

I DEFINITELY wish Scott Dix the best as well. It would be a huge letdown if he is unable to compete for the rest of the year. I definitely think that he has some unfinished business in Chattanooga, and I'm sure he deos as well. It seems that he has worked extremely hard to get where he is at this point, and I'd hate to see his season ended. I'm praying for ya in Murfreesboro!!! Take care!!

My son talked to Scott on New Year's day and it's not broken but it was re-injured. He is going to stay off the mats for about 2 weeks and then get a reevaluation.
