Well I sure got shocked when I had to wrestle the 112 from East Litterature Magnet.... He was really good. I didn't know till I got done wrestling him that he was the number one seed...haha.. I sure did get a wake up call... I somehow managed to make it to the second period with him, but then he put me in a Honeymooner and it was OVER!! I thought I was going to black out..... But I was overall happy with the way the tournament went.. there was good competition at 112, which I haven't got to wrestle since last year, and I ended with 2 pins and 2 losses so I am not complaining! Smyrna did a good job putting it together also, it went pretty fast, and because we had to drive two hours from Clarksville, it made a difference for us!! Godd job everyone! thumb

As I said on another post, I think if you take Meredith all 3 periods you win. He's out of shape. If his challengers are mentally tough, they win. If they don't tie up, they win. Mark my words on that. Also, why is the coach bumping the kids up? It's just asking for injury. Martin is 20 lbs. lighter than 189!! That's not smart thinking this close to February.

Yes, I'm talking about Meredith. I haven't seen him in shape in past seasons. My understanding is that he is not in shape now. Are my reports wrong? I understand that Martin stands his own ground with Meredith in practice. My prediction is that if you get one guy that doesn't tie up, doesn't try to out-muscle him, and is in good shape, Kenny loses. I'd love to see him win. I'm just saying that he is very beatable because he is out of shape. Isn't that why Martin can beat him in practice? Let me know.

You really should come and see one of our practices. I don't know where any of this info is coming from....
