thought i would breathe some life into this. i just think our post game is going to be too much. also, oakland has done well on defense as far as getting out and guarding the perimeter against teams that shoot the 3. i think oakland will try to establishing a quick up and down tempo to throw cookeville off their game. oakland by 14

Oakland[/url'>' date='Jan 12 2005 - 01:22 PM']i thought getting 2 T's only warranted a 1 game suspension?

No its 2 games is such a shame. He is a player who can be cold one minute then can hit 3 straight shots. Will hurt us that he is not playing. I think it will be alot closer than many people are saying. Also 2 straight years Cookeville has beaten a number 1 team in the district. Last year is was Riverdale the year before it was OAKLAND

well listening to the siegel and white co folks rambling on, were the number 3 team in district 7-aaa. i hate it that stearman wont be able to play against oakland, i wanted cookeville with all their players ready for this one. one thing hinges on whether this game is close or not: if oakland is on offensively...................

No Oakland is No. 1 no doubt about it.

When Oakland is on offensively they are definitely hard to stop. Cookeville could have their hands full.

    • I just saw on 5 Star Preps that Chaston Smith is transferring to Chattanooga McCallie. McCallie and Baylor are loading up. Baylor got UT commit Joakim Dodson and Former Alcoa player Kolby Barrett. They also got a bunch of other transfers.
    • Does anyone know of another spring scrimmage or are we done?
    • The lamentable departure of the esteemed coach, orchestrated by certain board members whose intellectual acumen leaves much to be desired, is a matter of grave concern. It is worth noting that these individuals, paradoxically invested in overseeing the educational welfare of others while opting for homeschooling for their own progeny, have effectively precipitated this regrettable outcome. One can only surmise that the repercussions of their actions will reverberate for an extended period, casting a pall over their respective tenures. Such consequences are indeed a cross they shall bear.
    • In my humble assertion, I find it imperative to clarify that my personage was not among those counted. Regrettably, the departure of Coach Blake Satterfield did not augur well for the program's trajectory. It is with a tempered sense of admiration that I regard the individual of fortitude who dares to embrace this challenging mantle, for they shall undoubtedly encounter formidable obstacles in their quest to satisfy the less discerning denizens of Hartsville. May the fates smile upon Blake Satterfield in his forthcoming endeavors.
    • Do you reckon this action demonstrates sound judgment? Whom do you propose as the most fitting candidate to assume the esteemed position of assistant principal at the middle school?
