How many seniors does CCS have, what do they lose....they will move up to the district with teams like Seq, Marion, Hixson next year.

CCS loses quite a bit. The larger one of the brothers is gone, but they still have the yonger one. They also lose Long and not sure who else. But i've heard the have a good middle school program so they'll prob reload quickly. (if they can keep the kids there CCS has a reputation of losing talent i think due to poor coaching)

sounds like it was a pretty low scoring and boring game. Sorry I missed it.

No actually is was a very exciting game. Valley proved that CCS could be beaten by a less talented team, if that team used a zone and it wasn't expected. CCS's guard-play kept them from winning the game. Don't understand why Salter doesn't lob the ball to a Groothius and let the two big boys pass it around.

This was a exciting game, but in the end it came down to the coaching. Salter had the younger Groothius playing at the top of the key, which is where he doesn't need to be. The kid is the leading scorer and rebounder on the team and he is playing at the top of the key. He needs to be down low and Salter needs to run a different offense when the shots are dropping. CCS should have went at least to the State tourney last year with the talent that they had and you begin to wonder about the coaching.
