LA's problem is not the loss of one player from last year......LA's problem is that the captain of the ship has no idea how to guide her crew back to a winning season...let alone a State Title repeat. Holding the ball when you are behind? No effort to make them rebound? Cycling players in and out to keep her team out of rythmn. Seniors that run down and shoot three's b4 anyone is close enough to rebound the shot they are going to miss......and so on and so on.

 

Basics....the captain of the LA ship needs to go back to the basics....teamwork...fundamentals...rebounding.....points from the paint......

 

Maybe this needs to be a new thread...........

I was at the game and the first half was all cannon. the wildcats made a run in the second half but just couldn't get close enough.

Beechboard was fantastic! She had lots of help that graduated too.....Thompson, Thurman, and Baltimore. None of these have been replaced yet.

That is true they did not lose just one player,they lost a lot.

I said at the beginning of the year that this would be a rebuilding year for LA, appears that is what it's turned out to be. They should be really good again when these Sophomores become Seniors.
