I dont know that this game will be all about three's. Both teams were shut down from the three line when they came to Warren County, but then again it was at WC's home court. Lebanon did a better job then Cookeville at fast break opportunities. I think Lebanon takes this one, but not by much maybe 5 points. But the real question is how long will Doug Keil's jacket stay on during the District Tourney?

Lebanon did not have a good week last week, but it is district tourney time, and Lebanon will be hungry. There are a lot of seniors on the team, and they will come through and perform. Lebanon is a better team than they showed at times this year, and it is time for the Blue Devils to show District 7AAA what they are all about.

Lebanon, again, by 9.

donald could score 50, it doesn't matter. it takes a team to win and cookeville has been playing some good team bball this year.

Lebanon is definitely not "a one man team." Although Donald is the unquestioned leader, he has excellent support from several players. If Andrew has an off night, look for Britton Winfree and Nick Payne to step up. They are both a little streaky but have the potential to have huge nights. With Todd Cross and John Presley getting extra attention along the arc, it should leave the driving lanes wide open for Nick and Britton. Jesse Allen has also been playing well as of late and gives the Devils an energetic scorer and defender off the bench. Senior Zach Hutto comes in and does all the dirty work, getting valuable rebounds and loose balls, and will knock down the huge "3" when you need it the most. When you throw in the leadership and unselfish play of Freddie Hall and the human rollercoaster ride, Justin Johnson, you have a well-rounded and balanced "TEAM".

I think this will be the most anticipated game of the 1st round. It has the potential to be close and with it being the 4-5 seeds knocking heads, it could be exciting. Both teams go about 10 deep and both love to get out and RUN. It is a shame one of these fine teams has to lose. Both would represent our district well in the regions.

Lebanon certainly needs to be game-planning on stopping Cookeville's Hill. I know he has scored about 25 in each of the first two games. He seems to love playing against the Blue Devils. He, along with Hennigan are two of the finest players in the district. If both of them have big games, Cookeville has their best chance to pull out the win. If, however, Lebanon plays their game, they win easily. If Cookeville can slow 'em down and work the half court game with Hill and Hennigan, it will be close, but Lebanon wins that one, too. Remember, Lebanon won big at home and had Cookeville beat in Cookeville if not for a couple of answered prayers.
