WHHS soccer team

I think WHHS has a good chance to upset some good teams, and for the first time in awhile I think they actually have a chance to win their own tourney.

They are led by a senior goalie with experience and a all junior defense that started every game as sophomores, they are still alittle shakey in the mid-field and forward positions but i think they have a chance to upset some decent teams this year. Just would like to hear your comments.

The senior goalie you speak of with experience, doesn't have much experience as goalie. I know that he's been involved with soccer for years but not as a keeper. I think he has potential and is taking advantage of the scrimmage games to get ready for district play.

WHHS will be better than they were last year, and i hope they do upset some teams, because i would love to see them succeed. Although I dont see them winning their tourny.

Good luck to white house in that scrimmage againest MLK. Is Matt H. going to be playing goalie all year long or are they going to play that other kid. I was just wondering because I have seen him play goalie very few times and didn't know if they had anyone else to play it.

Lavergne won 3-2 Varsity, JV was 1-0 Lavergne I believe

Matt H. will be the goalie the entire season. The other goalie you speak of is a Freshman and will spend this year with the JV squad improving and next year will more than likely be the starting goalie next year.

White House won a short scrimmage 3-2. The field was a mess and the coaches were the referees. The weather was horrible, so they stopped the game at about what would have been halftime.
