Best Rivalry in 10AA

There are plenty of rivalries in the district, but I thought it would be interesting to ask this question. What is the best rivalry in 10AA now?

I'm from Sycamore and I'll tell you that there is no better rivalry in this district than the Harpeth-Cheatham rivalry. Better known as the "River Rivalry" this game is always intense. I think that the fastest growing rivalry in the district is Waverly-Sycamore. In recent years, hose two teams have played in more meaningful postseason classics that any other two teams in this district.

I would say that Cheatham and Sycamore is probably the greatest rivalry on the boys side. It was a little one-sided for a few years, but there have been some great games in the past. The double OT game last year at Sycamore, and the double OT game this year at Cheatham were two of the best basketball games to watch. I do agree with catfish, that the Cheatham-Harpeth games are always intense.

 

Cheatham-Waverly and Sycamore-Waverly are probably the next rivalries.

Well, i think there are better ones, but if Waverly had to be in one it would be Waverly-Sycamore, or at least i think that would be it. Cheatham-Harpeth would probley be the best though.

Waverly and Sycamore had the best rivalry around the end of the season, and Cheatham and Waverly as well.

 

But if you would go by all the post on here you would definately say waverly and who ever they were going to play next.

2003 District Championship- Sycamore kills Waverly

2004 Regional Semifinal- Sycamore outlasts Waverly in a shootout

2005 District Semifinal- Waverly crushes Sycamore by 20

2005 Regional Semifinal- ????????????

 

This proves my point that Waverly-Sycamore is the fastest growing rivalry in the district. Name two other teams that have played more meaningful postseason games in the last four years.

Yall have fun beatin' up on Loretto because you've earned that right. Sycamore needs to concentrate on Lewis County. If the War Eagles take care of business there, then they can talk about beating the likes of Waverly & Giles County.
