It is very sad news to hear about Amy. She was always smiling. She was not only a great basketball player but a great person. Our prayers go out to Todd, Paula and the boys. Todd and Paula now live in Colorado and are expected in tonight. It is my understanding that the family are talking about establishing a fund for basketball (either Mt. Juliet or Cumberland) in lieu of flowers. This is a great family and I ask that your think about them in your prayers.

Amy was killed in a 1 car accident on I-840 sometime early this morning. Parents just arrived in from their home in Colorado. I visited with them at the airport. She will be at Hermitage Memorial Funeral Home with visitation to start around 2:00pm Tuesday. Services are Wednesday at 2:00pm. She will be sadly missed by her Tennessee Elite Family.

Such a loss, a fine young women taken at such a early age. Amy and my son graduated together and I personally watched her become an outstanding person on and off the court. She loved basketball and when others quit the team, she became more determined to win. Watching her and J.J played together was fun. Amy, you will be missed by the Mt. Juliet and Cumberland community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
