Talk about a road trip!! Northpoint Christian at Grace Christian-Knoxville
Northpoint Christian plays at Grace Christian Academy on Friday in the first round of the TSSAA DII-AA football playoffs...390 miles, one-way...6 hours if you don't stop. That's a haul.
Yes, Northpoint is actually in Mississippi, by 2 miles. They appealed to the TSSAA to join since they have so many potential opponents available right there in Memphis and many of their own students live in TN. That won't be a problem this week since they have to do the traveling. If they win you may hear the complaining start.
Hopefully, they can spend a couple of nights in Knoxville and maybe take in the UT-Mississippi State game on Saturday night. Perfect game between both of their "home" states.
