Take the bias out of yours! Take the top 10 students out of every school in the state private and public and their test scores will be virtually the same! I know private schools serve a purpose. Paren

Ol slim i said the last few years. Is it bad reading or bad comprehension?

A little of both

Ok everyone needs to realize this: PRIVATE SCHOOLS RECRUIT. i go to a highschool in middle tennessee and it is completely obvious they kids are brought in. We use financial aid to get them through school using money that people donate AKA our "sports fund". but i think its silly that we are even bickering over this. its not like tssaa is going to have almighty authority and stop these schools. Yes, i do have a problem with kids being brought in just to play sports, but its a football way of life. if public schools really are that mad about recruiting, then dont play private schools. we wont force you to play us. but if u do.... good luck. icon_e_surprised.gif

Thank you and good luck where you play.

FCA was handed the championship on a silver platter by the TSSAA. FCA was the 3rd or 4th best team out of the 8. Silverdale should have the championship now. TSSAA is getting really blatant as far as catering to the $ from the private schools. I think this drop of GP will be reversed. Congratulations FC finally bought one.

Actually ,no FCS didn't "finally buy one". This is the 3rd baseball championship (including the '05 forfeit where the OTHER TEAM was discovered to have cheated) not the 1st. And apparently FCS was NOT THE 3rd best team, as Swindoll was able to pitch a complete game shutout against the Seahawks. And it seems that both teams were private. So where's the beef?

How do you mean? I know nothing about single A baseball, so I am not trying to give you a hard time, but that's a pretty serious allegation, so I am just asking why you think this? Isn't Silverdale Baptist Academy also a private school?

Yes they are and they were the best team in it this year.

Why didn't they win?

I'm sure we cheated somehow. Wait, if we're both private how can you tell who's cheating? It looks like it would have been a tie.
