Anyone from Clinton know how the young man is doing that got hurt at the end of the game that was taken to the hospital Friday Night. Very scary to see something like this happen in a game and hope he is doing well.

He's already home and doing fine. Said he will be back playing soon!

Did Bearden scrimmage anyone last Friday? If so, how did they do?

I'm looking forward to seeing if we worked on the things we needed to Friday.

Scrimmaged South Doyle Friday. 3-1 in 1st team action. Should be a good matchup this Friday.  Let's just hope every one stays healthy and it's a good scrimmage making both teams better!

How'd the scrimmage vs Bearden go?

Clinton kept Bearden out of the end zone for Bearden's first 20 plays. Clinton scored on both of their first 2 posessions.

Then the 2nd teams came in with Bearden scoring once and Clinton not able to score.

Then they did some red zone plays. Bearden and Clinton both scored 1 td each in the red zone drills.

The final with 1st teamers was Clinton 3 Bearden 1. JV was Bearden 1 Clinton 0 when I left.

Clinton's passing game is still their strength. Looks like they still have trouble running the ball consistently.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
