orngnblk
AB....fyi.....FRA wuz cawled tha "Rebels" then'st..... Yes they were.Greenback beat them in 1987 on the way to our first and only state championship, that was one of the coldest playoff games I can remember(thankful I was playing the kids one the sideline were miserable).FRA had a DB that only had one arm and he also played receiver and was one of their best players.....and we should have beaten them in 91 also! MSURacer
Paducah Tilghman must have been insanely good in the early 1990's. Only team to defeat BA in '91, and I believe they were also the only team to defeat Gallatin in '92. Both went on to win state championships. Billy Jack Haskins was their QB that year, and he went on to play at Kentucky. Edited July 10, 2016 by AlcoaBasketball

FRA was not a top team in 87. Had a few games where injuries helped them win. Still remember then throwing the ball 40 times a game in 87. Since 1991 they have beaten their biggest rival 3 times. Decent program with a good coach now. BW is going to do good things there. Very likeable guy too.
