Thursday, Feb. 13

 

No. 3 Rhea County (20-6, 7-3) vs. No. 6 Stone Memorial (10-18, 1-9) — 6 p.m.

 

Friday, Feb. 14

 

No. 4 Cookeville (12-15, 4-6) vs. No. 5 Warren County (17-14, 2-8) — 6 p.m.

 

Saturday, Feb. 15

 

No. 2 Cumberland County (24-3, 7-3) vs. Rhea/Stone winner — 3 p.m.

 

No. 1 White County (20-6, 9-1) vs. Cook/Warren winner — 6 p.m.

 

Monday, Feb. 17

 

Consolation game — 6 p.m.

 

Championship — 7:30 p.m.

Championship game — 7:30 p.m.

I'm assuming the 6 AAA girls games were snow-delayed like ours in 5 AAA, but from the scores I saw it appears Cumberland will play Rhea and White Co. will play Cookeville in semifinal games? If so, when will those games be played? I'm trying to see which two from 6 AAA travels and which two hosts in first round of the Region.

 

In girls 5 AAA, Bradley will play McMinn Monday night at 7:30 for the championship, and Walker Valley will play Cleveland at 6:00 for the consolation......thus Bradley and McMinn will host first round of the Region, and Walker Valley and Cleveland will travel.

2-15-14   #4 Unaka vs #1 Hampton @5:30pm   #2 South Greene vs #6 North Greene @ 8:30pm

NOTE: #3 Cloudland & #5 University High are eliminated from district tournament.

All semi final games will be played on Monday.  First game is at 3:00 pm

I think the Rhea Co. and Cumberland Co. game will be the 3:00 game.

Correction to the 16AAA Boys Semifinals.  Overton vs White Station Semifinal 16-AAA District Tournament game will be played at 7:30pm NOT 4:30pm. 

 

The Hamilton vs. Whitehaven game will now be played at 4:30pm. 

 

Both Games are still at White Station.

#5 Memphis Overton vs. #4 Memphis Central 7 p.m.

#6 Melrose vs. #3 Whitehaven 7:30 p.m.

 

Friday Feb. 14 @ Higher Seed

#7 Memphis East vs. #2 Hamilton 6 p.m.

 

Monday Feb. 17 @ White Station

Memphis Overton/Memphis Central Winner vs. #1 White Station 4:30 p.m.

Melrose/Whitehaven Winner vs. Memphis East/Hamilton Winner 7:30 p.m.

 

Tuesday Feb. 18 @ White Station

Consolation 7:30 p.m.

 

Wednesday Feb. 19 @ White Station

Championship  7:30 p.m.

 

Correction to the 16AAA Boys Semifinals on Monday, Feb 17th

 

Overton vs White Station Semifinal 16-AAA District Tournament game will be played at 7:30pm NOT 4:30pm. 

 

The Hamilton vs. Whitehaven game will now be played at 4:30pm. 

 

Both Games will still be played at White Station.

      While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
