chipper_jones_4mvp
I thought Jaylan Barford got snubbed in AA and thought there were better players in AAA than CJ Anderson, like Chris Chiozza, Nic Smith,Dedric and Keelon Lawson. alumnicoach85
I thought Jaylan Barford got snubbed in AA and thought there were better players in AAA than CJ Anderson, like Chris Chiozza, Nic Smith,Dedric and Keelon Lawson. I thought Barford was the biggest snub of them all, he is totally a mr. Basketball finalist, and CJ Anderson shouldn't of been in the conversation, the guard from dyer county should of pulled more votes than him... I guess these kids need to make it to state to solidify their nomination

If you have objections to the finalists, that is yiour right. But please dont discount or degrade another young man just because a player you thought was "better" did not make the finalist. chipper_jones_4mvp
Not discarding anybody because all are deserving and there are only 3 that are nominated,so there will be players left off that some posters say that should be nominated.I believe Barford is the biggest snub and there were other players that are better than CJ Anderson. boogie123
Has there been any discussion about possibly changing the format of Mr. Basketball to follow how KY does it? They have 7 nominees state-wide and one is chosen as an overall winner. In addition, only seniors are allowed to be nominated. What are everyone's thoughts on that type of format? kingjuggernaut
Qua Ingram out of humboldt should have been in the mix
DougS
the nomination process just narrows down to 3 instead of 7. More than likely the winner will be a senior but I dont like the Sr only as part of the actual criteria. Let the "best" player be awarded not just the "best" senior basketball player in TN.
