Jake White named Summertown Football Coach
SUMMERTOWN - Jake White has been named the new Head Football Coach of the inaugural Summertown Middle School Football program.
Randy Smith was previously named Head Coach less than 2 weeks ago, but he abruptly resigned on July 10th citing health concerns that had recently arisen.
White has been a member of the SHS faculty for several years and has served as an assistant coach in the basketball program. White is an Alumnus of Lewis Co. High School where he played and served as an Assistant Football coach there in the past.
Coach White has called a meeting for players and parents for Monday, July 16th at 6:00 PM at the SHS Cafeteria. The program is open to all 6th, 7th & 8th grade students at Summertown and Ethridge Schools.
