5. 2012 Regional Meetings
There were four proposals for changes in the TSSAA Bylaws on the Regional Meetings agenda this year. A report of these meetings will be provided to the Board of Control.
6. Review of 2012 Fall Sports
7. Division II Traditional Wrestling Tournament Format
This is a follow-up of the discussion in June concerning the Division II Traditional Wrestling Tournament bracket and number of qualifiers.
8. Update of Regional Basketball Sites for 2012-2013

10. Stewarts Creek High School Requests TSSAA Membership
The Rutherford County Board of Education plans to open Stewarts Creek High School beginning with the 2013-2014 school year. The projected enrollment is 1,505 students. If approved, they plan to offer all sports sanctioned by TSSAA.
11. Northview Academy Requests TSSAA Membership
Sevier County will be opening a new school in the fall of 2013. The grade configuration will be 7-9 with plans to add a grade each year. Plans are to participate at the junior varsity level the first two years. Their projected enrollment the first two years is 343 students.
12. Huntingdon High School Requests Format Change for Region 7A Basketball Tournament
Huntingdon High School is requesting permission to continue the format they have used the past few years in the Region 7A Basketball Tournament.
13. Girls’ State Soccer Tournament
During the August meeting, the Board instructed the staff to work with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce to discuss a potential contract to bring the Girls’ Soccer Tournament to Murfreesboro beginning with the 2013-2014 school year. The contract with Chattanooga expires this year. The staff will give an update regarding the progress of this.
14. TSSAA State Golf Tournament
We have been working with Willow Brook Golf Course concerning their hosting our state championships. They asked that the Board of Control consider a four - year contract.
15. Wrestling Proposal from East Nashville Magnet School
East Nashville Magnet School has submitted a proposal to change the traditional State Wrestling Tournament into an A/AA and AAA format.
16. Midway High School Requests Permission to Host the District 3A Basketball Tournament
They are requesting the Board to waive the seating capacity policy since their gym seats fewer than 1,000 people.
17. McMinn Central High School Requests Permission to Form a Cooperative Program in Wrestling
McMinn Central High School is requesting to form a cooperative program in wrestling with McMinn County for the 2012-2013 school year. The TSSAA Bylaws in Article I, Section 8 (Cooperative Programs) states:
Two member schools may petition TSSAA annually for permission to have a cooperative program in any sport if one of the schools does not have that program and has not had that program for the last five years…
This will be McMinn Central’s third year to not have a wrestling program. They are asking for an exception to this rule.

The district and regional alignments in Division I and Division II in all sports voted on by the Board will be for the 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, and 2016-17 school years.
