DII-AA Miss Basketball Winner Named
NASHVILLE - - -The winner of the Division II-AA Miss Basketball Award was announced at the conclusion of the championship game today at Lipscomb University.
Kaleigh Clemons from Baylor School was named Miss Basketball for 2015. The other two finalists were Jordyn Cambridge from Ensworth High School and Sydney Harvey from Brentwood Academy.
Clemons is a 5’7”, junior point guard for the Red Raiders. She is a three year starter who averages 13.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.1 assists, and 3.5 steals per game. She shoots 40% from the field, 30% from three-point range, and 65% from the free throw line. Kaleigh has been named the “Times Free Press” tournament MVP three times.
